About RV Life South Carolina

RV Life South Carolina started with a simple complaint: too many campground write-ups online read like they were generated by someone who never actually checked in with a rig behind them. A "full hookup" listing that turns out to be water and electric only. A "10 minutes from the interstate" claim that means 10 minutes if you ignore the two stoplights. We wanted a site that says what it actually knows and admits what it doesn't.

What We Cover

We organize South Carolina the way RV travelers actually move through it: campground guides by region and type, state park camping, private resorts, beach camping, lakefront camping, mountain and foothills camping, and dedicated coverage of the Grand Strand and the Charleston Lowcountry corridor. Every guide is built around specifics that change a trip: hookup type, site length, road grade, resort fees, and seasonal conditions like hurricane timing or peak leaf-season crowds.

Our Approach

We don't guarantee site availability, and we don't publish invented campground visits or fake traveler reviews. When a campground's amenities depend on verification we haven't completed, we say so instead of guessing. A busy oceanfront resort might be the right call for a family chasing pool time, while a wooded state park loop suits a couple looking for quiet. We try to explain that tradeoff instead of pretending one property beats every other for every traveler.
